As you may know in our studio in Wimbledon we made a decision not to use Balloons and become a more sustainable eco-friendly studio. By making small steps and leading by example, together we can tech our children to make more sustainable choices in the future. Wooden Car in Boho surroundings:

 

Wooden car is a perfect Props for both boys or girls — it is done from a natural wood with beautiful finish. Such props are very rare in London, so your Birthday Photoshoot will stand out amongst others. Your friends and family will be impressed. By addition a few new details — like Boho style linen curtains — transforms studio into a different room.

 

Ballerina Stand:

This set up has not been seen anywhere else in London — use of real flowers on three different levels of the set up provides extended depth and definition to the photos- you want to spend time looking at them, paying attention to every little detail. Daisy Wall for your birthday:

 

Daisy wall is a perfect balloon alternative- it looks simple, yet sweet and delicate decoration for your baby’s first milestone celebration. It can be paired with either a wooden crate (as on the photo) or with a wooden bed as a different option.

Plain wall with coloured  plates:

Another variation to the Daisy wall — decorating it with old-fashioned plates on the wall and some matching props.

Rustic Look:

It dense have to bee all white and fluffy — rustic look usually complements any skin tone and looks very on trend. Beautiful nordic style wooden houses are a great way of bringing variety to your photos. They also look amazing with your wooden car or rustic wooden planks too! As you can see here little girl also chose a wooden cake over a real one. PS. there is nothing to stop you from having both!!!))

Boho Style Decor:

Background decor that you can see on the picture seems to be one of the top choices that parents go for their children when book a cake smash photoshoot for their boy or girl. It can be paired with a wooden cake (you don’t have to eat to celebrate your child’s birthday) — perfect for any children allergic to the Cake ingredients. This style looks perfect with our lace cape for girls or dungaree for boys.

Paint Smash:

Did you know that you don’t have a cake during your birthday photo? We have an amazing alternative to any traditional cake — Try Paint Smash!!! Your child gets to draw his or her creation on a blank canvas with special finger paints for 12 months+ and you get to take this creation home! What a great keep sake for you to keep!

Perfection in simplicity — this is modern and a very easy set up a takes about 5-7 minutes to take photos on it (usually right after family portraits) but adds wonderful modern feel to your baby’s gallery and these images look great printed on the wall — adding that clean and modern feel to your room.

Seasonal Decorations for Cake Smash Photoshoot:

Every year we are getting ready and anticipating holiday season. We love incorporating autumn colours and textures in October and early November to show off the colours of your baby’s birthday and of course Christmas is always big in our Wimbledon studio! Top tip: do your Christmas themed Cake Smash photoshoot early November, so you can use the photo for personalised Christmas cards for the extended family and friends.

 

 

You can choose away lots of the options- your baby’s patience is the limit!!! Cake Smash photoshoot takes on average 2 hours, we can take breaks for food or cuddles  if your baby needs to rest (its hard job to be a model). Photoshoot usually stops when your baby starts showing signs of being tires and more often then not after a fun session of splashing in the bath tub — your baby falls asleep in the car or in the buggy on the way back home from your photoshoot.
