What if my baby won't sleep during the photoshoot?
Even when after you book your newborn shoot, you might still have concerns ‘What if my baby won’t sit still?’, ‘What if they refuse to sleep?’, ‘What if they have a crying marathon?’, or the classic ‘What if accidents happen?’
Just take a deep breath! I’m a baby photography specialist, and I’ve seen it all. I’ve got secret skills to capture perfect shots that show off your baby’s unique personality. There has never been a photoshoot when baby didn’t sleep at all! your newborn will sleep, its the matter of time) and in the meantime we can always take photos with the eyes opened or some family shots.
It’s impossible to predict how your baby will react in the studio, but it is possible to be prepared for all occasions. With no time limit for the photo session (we work for the result, not limited in time) various baby calming tricks, warm and calm environment in the studio on offer, every shoot will produce stunning photographs. Moreover, you needn’t be embarrassed about your baby’s reactions to the unfamiliar surroundings. Seriously… at this point, there’s nothing I haven’t seen or prepared for!
Can I have family portraits? Can we include older children?

I totally get it that you would want some group shots to go with those adorable solo portraits of your baby, beautiful shots of the new big sister of brother too! I’ve got you covered!
Think of this photoshoot as a big family gathering with a focus on your newest addition. We’ll capture individual shots of each child, group photos with all the siblings, sweet moments with mommy and daddy, and full family portraits. Everyone will be included—grandparents are welcome too!!
Worries that your older (not so old) baby might get restless or bored? Maybe daddy or older sibling can’t attend a newborn photoshoot due to work or school commitment? I totally get it. I have two children too and a busy life) I feel you mama!
For the busy families I offer splitting a session into two parts when needed and there is no way around it — main half will be for the baby and include all the attending adults — a different day or time we can do a separate short family photoshoot which won’t take more than half hour:) Just give me a call and we will create a plan — designed just for you!

Can you come to my house for newborn photoshoot?
I totally understand if you’re feeling a bit nervous about traveling with your new baby for a newborn photoshoot. Or maybe there are some religious reasons that make it difficult for you to leave the house. Or else, your house might be a bit far from my studio, and you’re not up for a long journey with a little one in tow. Trust me, I’ve been there!
But fear not! I’ve got a solution that will make things a whole lot easier for you. Introducing the in-home newborn photoshoot! That’s right—I’ll bring my entire studio setup right to your doorstep, whether you’re in any part of London or even outside the M25 of South West London. You don’t have to lift a finger!
All I need is one room in your house and an empty wall for those amazing family portraits. I’ll take care of the rest. You can relax in the comfort of your own home, your older children can play with their familiar toys and or your busy partner can continue working from home hoping in for 5 minutes at the time for some family snaps while I work my magic and capture those precious moments. And guess what? By choosing the in-home option, you’ll not only get my signature studio-style posed newborn photos, but also lifestyle newborn photos that capture even more emotions. Plus, I’ll even create a video from the day to preserve those memories for years to come!

What if I am late for my newborn appointment?
Let’s face it, having a newborn baby makes it hard to even leave the house at all, let alone to make it on schedule for your newborn photoshoot – I get that! Which is why sessions are booked to provide some wriggle time. While turning up three hours late might not work, a few minutes after the time shouldn’t stop the photographer (me:) from getting great shots during the baby photoshoot.
The time we have to set aside provides for feeding, outfit changes, and the many other challenges that may be faced during the course of a shoot. I believe that the best baby photos are captured when the session is relaxed and free from stress. Timings are a key aspect of this, which is why I goes the extra mile to make sure we work around baby’s feeding and sleeping schedule to get the best shots as comfortably as possible.
Newborn photoshoot can take up to 3,5, sometimes 4 hours (especially with Twins), its a good idea to not have any appointments booked that day and keep the calendar free to embrace and enjoy the experience fully.
I also appreciate that babies get ill. While I can’t always promise that moving the appointment is possible, I’m happy to discuss this even at late notice. If there is another reason for changing the date (work, etc.), I can usually accommodate this when you contact the studio in advance. Similarly, if you are running late, do call first. If there is availability, I can move you to the next slot.
Have I left it too late for a newborn photoshoot?
Let’s clear up a common misconception about baby photoshoots: you don’t have to book them months in advance like World cup final tickets. Nope! While it’s true that booking early can increase your chances of booking your preferred time and date, you can actually book your newborn photoshoot just a few days in advance and still make it happen! And I have a convenient calendar on my website to make it easier for you too!!!
So, if your baby is already here or even a few weeks old already—it’s not too late to capture those stunning photos you’ve been dreaming of. In fact, booking a bit later might work in your favor because you’ll have a better idea of your immediate schedule, rather than trying to predict what’s happening a few months down the line.
Is your little bundle of joy already 2, 3, 5, or 6 weeks old? No worries at all! Of course, I wouldn’t wait too long for a newborn photoshoot, so the sooner, the better. But guess what? Did your little one decide to make an early entrance into the world? Premature babies often have an extended newborn stage, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing some true newborn-style cuties at 7 or even 8 weeks old. In fact, with really young babies, I might suggest waiting a bit to let them grow their tummies and establish feeding routines, so they can comfortably go a couple of hours between feeds.

What shall I wear? Nothing fits me
I totally get it. After pregnancy, our bodies go through some changes, and it’s natural to feel a little self-conscious. But guess what? You’re absolutely beautiful just the way you are, mama!

Can I bring my doggy or a cat along?
I totally understand how a furry baby can be a part of the family — I too have a doggy, who has been by my side for over 11 years and I love him dearly. For that reason I always welcome doggies & cats or other babies to the studio for my maternity or newborn photoshoots and then once the photo session is finished the studio gets a full deep cleaning — ready for the next customer who may or may not have a furry baby in their family.
So by all means do bring all members of your family, however many legs they may have)
