WHY IS CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY IMPORTANT?
I am a big advocate of taking children photos all the time. Why you ask me? Child photography is vital not only for me, seeing them grow, but also for my children!
Did you know that photos are very powerful tool that can send you back in time and connect you to your past, remind you of places, events and even feelings and smells you felt on that day.
We were fortunate enough to have a photo taken of my son being born, literally with his cord still attached. Every time I look at this photo tears of joy always stream down my cheeks, I remember that very strange feeling of excitement when I saw him for the first time and also my first though of «Oh my god, he is so big, how did he fit in me?»
That photo became very important for me especially when my daughter was born and I started showing that photo to my son explaining that one day he was just as little and I was looking after him and holding him in my arms at all times just as I am doing now to his little sister.

And as they are both growing up, they love looking back at family albums and seeing our house and themselves being little and best of all they love listening to all the stories about how they started talking and walking, and my children’s favourite movies are little video clips that I took on my iPhone of them and all the family portraits we have done and all of the portraits of my children that I took over the years. Now my crawling after them with the camera is starting to pay off.
It makes them feel loved and give them sense of belonging to the family.
